As a creative contractor, I had the opportunity to help the team at Tidewater Capital complete their rebranding project by spearheading the roll-out of their newly updated brand guidelines, initially designed by Design Agency, across their entire portfolio of collateral. Through our close collaboration, I further developed the brand guidelines by elaborating on multiple sections, adding essential dividers, expanding the color palette, and creating iconography. Once the brand guide was finalized, I made a Brand Toolkit so the folks at Tidewater could spend less time worrying about being ‘designers’ by designing pre-designed templates for PowerPoint and Word, where they could easily plug and play their content.
I also provided an employee brand training session to empower Tidewater employees to become brand champions. I discussed the importance of branding, gave an overview of their verbal and visual identity, and showed the use of templated examples so they could quickly and easily create compelling, on-brand communications.
Although the brand transformation is complete, I act as their brand strategist and graphic designer working on various ad hoc projects as part of our ongoing collaboration.
